Q-Venture’s success has been
underpinned by a focused strategy, centred around 3 main pillars of
competency as follows:
Telecommunications
Within Telecommunications, the
company’s main focus has been on building and maintaining Telecommunications
Infrastructure for both operators and major equipment vendors. The
preference is for full turnkey site Builds, including all aspects of
procurement, logistics, civils, and culminating in installation of the RF &
transmission equipment, prior to handover to in-house or client maintenance
teams.
Service Management
Within Service Management,
which scales both the ICT and telecommunications environments, historical
focus has been on consulting, training, and implementation of Service
Management processes and systems for corporate clients. This is based
largely on the ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) set of
service management processes, and ratified under ISO 20000.
Importantly, whilst Venture
Communications has generated profits through the stand-alone offering of
services a and b above, and Quintica has generated profits from point c, the
bringing together of these two organisations under the Q-Venture banner
uniquely positions the company to take advantage of a number of key
developments in the ICT and Telecommunications industry in developing
markets.
Due to this, significant growth
in margins and profitability are expected through the implementation of the
company’s strategy to offer ICT and Facilities Management Services in
emerging markets, through the company’s Q-VAN, and Q-Fusion offerings.
In addition, Venture
Communication’s imminent entry into the Nigerian market provides a good
opportunity for growth.
